Chayz Lounge is the premier jazz venue renowned for combining the finest contemporary jazz and rhythm & blues acts with a wonderful dining experience in an elegant, upscale atmosphere. An evening at Chayz Lounge is a retreat to an elegant room filled with a symphony of sounds, aromas of delicious dishes, and repose in what feels like your own private living room.
We are committed to providing an unparalleled experience for our guests. With that in mind, we have implemented the following rules and guidelines to ensure everyone's enjoyment.
DRESS CODE POLICY: We promote an atmosphere of elegance, class, and sophistication that encourages guests to dress up. We ask all guests to support our standards by NOT wearing the following items of clothing:

We strongly encourage all of our guests to familiarize themselves with our Dress Code Policy before attending any show, as we strictly enforce it. In order to preserve the standards of our establishment, we reserve the right to deny entry to anyone not adhering to the policy. Please ensure that everyone in your group is wearing the proper attire to avoid any potential hiccups.
CODE OF CONDUCT: Chayz Lounge is best described as an intimate listening room. Being courteous and respectful of others’ in our space, and our venue is key to creating an enjoyable experience for all. As such, we ask that all guests refrain from:

Harassing or behaving in an offensive manner towards our guests or staff

Acts of discrimination, aggression, intimidation in any form towards our guests or staff

Any other types of behavior that is considered disruptive, disturbing, or inappropriate
Management reserves the right to address behavior by guests that is to be disorderly, inappropriate, or in violation of our policies. In such instances, guests may be asked to leave the premises and no refund will be provided.
LATE ARRIVAL: Our performances begin promptly at the scheduled time. Seats not claimed by the start of the show will be forfeited. If you are running late, please text 803-563-8375 so we can arrange to hold your seat(s). If for any reason you cannot attend the show, let us know and we may be able to transfer your ticket to another show..
DINING: We offer table service dining for your enjoyment of our scrumptious Signature Dishes, delectable desserts, hand-crafted cocktails, and fine selection of wines. Click here to view our Food & Drink menus. Plan to arrive early to enjoy a relaxed dining experience.
MINIMUM PURCHASE REQUIREMENT: A minimum spend of $25 per person in food and/or drinks is required—not including taxes and gratuity. If your total purchase falls below this requirement, you will be charged for the difference. Additionally, an 18% gratuity will be added to all of your food and beverage purchases.
Please keep in mind that the average spend per person on food and beverage is $65. We encourage you to budget accordingly and come with an appetite to enjoy our delicious cuisine, Signature Cocktails, and wonderful selection of wines.
GROUP MINIMUM PURCHASE REQUIREMENT: If you're planning to bring a group of 10 to 20 people to a show as part of a special occasion, please note that each person is required to spend a minimum of $50 in food and/or beverages—not including taxes and gratuity. If the total spends falls below this requirement, your guest(s) will be charged for the difference.
OUTSIDE FOOD & DECOR: Outside food is NOT permitted. This includes cakes, cupcakes, water bottles, soda etc. Additionally, decorations and/or gift bags are not allowed.
SEATING ARRANGEMENTS: Seating is assigned upon arrival and is based on the size of parties attending the evening’s performance. Further, our venue has cabaret seating, which means that you and your party may be sharing a table with other guests. If others are joining you under different names, please notify us via text to 803-563-8375.
SEAT OCCUPANCY: Seat occupancy and the purchase of food and beverage are essential components for a sustainable business. Therefore, if you opt to purchase all the seats at a table (for example, 2 people buy out a table for 4), you will be charged an additional fee of $40 per empty seat. This charge helps to covers the costs associated with having fewer patrons seated in our restaurant.
GROUP SEATING: We welcome small groups looking to celebrate a special occasion with us while enjoying one of our performances. Our intimate venue has tables that seat up to 4 guests, and a limited number of tables that can accommodate 6. We cannot join tables together for groups larger than 6 people to be seated together. The following also applies:

We understand that conversation among patrons is expected and encouraged. However, we ask all guests to be mindful of the fact that they are in a shared space and the level of their conversations as not to interfere with the enjoyment of other guests.
ACCESSIBLE SEATING: We take pride in our efforts to meet the needs of all patrons. Handicap accessible seating for patrons and their party, as well as patrons with service animals, is available. If you have any ADA-accommodation needs or special accommodations are required, please notify us by text to 803-563-8375.
AGE REQUIREMENT: Chayz Lounge is a mature, adult only establishment that has welcomed customers ranging in ages from 25 - 85. However, the minimum age to attend our shows is 21.
HEALTH & SAFETY: The well-being of our patrons, and staff is our top priority. If you have a fever, severe cough, sore throat, COVID or flu-like symptoms, or are feeling ill in any way, please DO NOT ENTER our building. In addition, for the safety of both our guests and staff, we have security cameras in use both inside and outside our building.
REFUNDS: All ticket sales are final and refunds will not be issued. There may be an exception if an event is postponed or canceled due to weather or artist cancellation. Can I bring balloons to a show?We welcome all individuals and groups to spend an evening at our venue enjoying a show while celebrating a special occasion. However, please be mindful that you are attending a public performance. Therefore, we do not allow decor, including balloons, to be brought into the venue.

Can I celebrate a birthday or anniversary at a show?We welcome small groups to spend an evening at our establishment enjoying a show while celebrating a special occasion. However, our room is arranged with tables that seat 2, 4, and limited tables that seat 6 people. Due to the intimate setting of our space, we cannot accommodate groups larger than 6 at the same table. We cannot combine tables to accommodate large groups. If your party exceeds 6 people, please inform us by TEXT to 803-563-8375 so we can arrange to have your party seated close together. Additionally, Outside food & drinks, including cake, cupcakes, water, soda, etc., are NOT permitted inside our establishment. Balloons or other types of decor are not permitted when attending a public performance. IMPORTANT: Please be mindful of the fact that the room is not exclusive to your group. Once the performance begins, guests are required to keep their conversations to a reasonable, private volume so as to not negatively impact others in the room and to be respectful to the artists, and performance in general. Any excessive volume of conversation or excessive distractions from the performance by your invited guests will be respectfully addressed by management. We reserve the right to ask any guest to leave our establishment if these behaviors are demonstrated.

Can I rent your venue for an event?Chayz Lounge is the ultimate place to host an intimate gathering. Throughout the years, Chayz Lounge has been the preferred venue for: Intimate weddings Private dinner parties Rehearsal dinners & brunches Engagement parties Baby showers Photo shoots Film shoots Recitals Holiday parties Luncheons Trainings Corporate functions Tables and chairs are included with the rental and our space can be configured as needed for your event. Table linen and chair covers are available an additional cost. Please note that events cannot exceed 11:00 pm. Catering for your event is provided in-house by our Chef. The menu can be tailored to your taste and preference. We also offer full bar service. We offer the following three options to celebrate special occasion at our venue. Option 1: Groups of 15-20 to Attending A Scheduled Show If you would like to bring your group of 15-20 people to one of our shows for a special occasion, please note that we require a minimum collective spend of $1,000 on food and beverage, plus taxes and gratuity. Please keep in mind that this is still a public event and your guests are expected to abide by our rules and standards as not to interfere with the enjoyment of all other guests. As well, outside cakes or desserts are not allowed. If your group exceeds 20 people, please review Option 2 or 3. Option 2: Venue Rental for a Private Event Our beautiful space creates the feeling of being at an exclusive event in the atmosphere of an elegant dining room. Catering services are available as outside food and beverages, including alcoholic beverages, are not allowed. We can provide an exceptional private dining experience prepared by our in house Chef that’s sure to leave a lasting impression with your guests. Our venue may not be large compared to some, but it is the perfect size for the right event. We can accommodate 64 seated guests with a total interior capacity of 99. As well, our outdoor courtyard accommodates an additional 24 seated guests and is available as additional rental space. The following are our rental rates, excluding holidays, catering cost, taxes, and gratuity. Mondays & Wednesdays: 9am - 2pm or 5pm - 9pm: $900 Thursdays 9am - 2pm: $900 5pm - 10pm: $1,250 Friday 9am - 2pm: $1,000 5pm - 11pm: $1,750 Saturday 9am - 2pm: $1,000 5pm - 11pm: $2,125 Sunday 9am - 2pm or 5pm - 9pm: $1,500 Option 3: Food & Beverage Minimum Requirement In lieu of catering for your evening event, your guests have the option of ordering from our food, wine, and cocktail menus at their expense. In such cases, there is a minimum for food and beverage requirement, which is the base amount that needs to be spent during your event. This minimum excludes taxes, fees, and gratuity. The following are the minimum food and beverage (F&B) requirements. Can I take pictures or video?Taking pictures and video clips of our shows to share on social media is permitted. However, due to contractual obligations, the recording of the performances in its entirety (audio or video) is strictly prohibited. We encourage you to put your phones away and enjoy the show.

Can I watch sports at your restaurant?No. Ours is a jazz bistro that offers an elegant, upscale atmosphere to relax after work, spend the evening with friends, or a romantic night out. What sets us apart is warm ambiance and delectable cuisine paired with the finest contemporary jazz acts.

How do I make reservations for a show?Tickets and seat reservations are secured online only. We do not accept payments or reservations by phone. Visit our Shows page and then click the GET TICKETS or RSVP button. You will be redirected to Eventbrite where you can purchase your tickets or reserve a spot for Jazz After 5 or our Sunday Jazz Brunch.

Why is there a cover charge for your shows?In order to compensate the extraordinary caliber of talent featured at our establishment, we must charge admission. The average cover charge is $25. However, depending on the act, the cover charge can be higher.
