Venue Etiquette & Guidelines

We are committed to providing an unparalleled experience for our guests. With that in mind, we have implemented the following rules and guidelines to ensure everyone's enjoyment.

DINING: We offer table service for the enjoyment of our modern American cuisine with a New Orleans flair, hand-crafted cocktails, and a fine selection of wines. Plan to arrive early to enjoy a relaxed dining experienceClick here to view our Food & Drink menus. Please note that the ticket price covers the cost of the entertainment only. Food and drinks must be purchased separately.

MINIMUM PURCHASE REQUIREMENT: A minimum spend of $35 per person in food and/or drinks is required—not including taxes and gratuity. If your total purchase falls below this requirement, you will be charged for the difference. Additionally, an 18% gratuity will be added to all of your food and beverage purchases. 

​

Please keep in mind that the average spend per person on food and beverage is $50. We strongly recommend that you to budget accordingly and come with an appetite to enjoy our delicious cuisine, Signature Cocktails, and wonderful selection of wines.

 

For groups of 8 to 12 people, there is a specific minimum purchase requirement. Please refer to our Group Guidelines page for further details.

LATE ARRIVAL: Our performances begin promptly at the scheduled time. Seats not claimed by the start of the show will be forfeited. If you are running late, please text 803-563-8375 so we can arrange to hold your seat(s). If for any reason you cannot attend the show, let us know and we may be able to transfer your ticket to another show. 

​

OUTSIDE FOOD & DECOR: Outside food is NOT permitted. This includes cakes, cupcakes, water bottles, soda etc. Additionally, decorations and/or gift bags are not allowed. 

​

SEAT OCCUPANCY: Seat occupancy and the purchase of food and beverage are essential components for a sustainable business. Therefore, if you opt to purchase all the seats at a table (for example, 2 people buy out a table for 4), you will be charged an additional fee of $40 per empty seat. This charge helps to covers the costs associated with having fewer patrons seated in our restaurant.

ACCESSIBLE SEATING: We take pride in our efforts to meet the needs of all patrons. Handicap accessible seating for patrons and their party, as well as patrons with service animals, is available. If you have any ADA-accommodation needs or special accommodations are required, please notify us by text to 803-563-8375.

AGE REQUIREMENT: Chayz Lounge is a mature, adult only establishment that has welcomed customers ranging in ages from 25 - 85. However, the minimum age to attend our shows is 21. 

​

CODE OF CONDUCT: We place an emphasis on the significance of being courteous and respectful of others’ in our space as it contributes to a safe, relaxing, and comfortable environment for all to enjoy. With that in mind, we do not tolerate behavior that is disruptive, inappropriate, potentially harmful to others, or detracts from the overall experience. This includes, but is not limited to the following:

  • Engaging in loud Conversations. While we expect conversation among our guests, we kindly request that everyone be mindful of their volume so as not to disturb others. Please keep in mind that this is a shared space and we want all guests to enjoy the experience.
     

  • Using your cell phones in speaker mode
     

  • Use of illegal substances anywhere on our premises
     

  • Frequently changing seats
     

  • Getting on stage during the performance
     

  • Repeated photography or video recording of the performance
     

  • Bringing any type of alcoholic drinks into our venue 
     

  • Consuming your own alcoholic drinks anywhere on our premises
     

  • Having concealed weapons of any kind on our premises
     

  • Handing out promotional material on our premises
     

  • Littering anywhere on our premises
     

  • Obstructing pathways and doorways
     

  • Using offensive or threatening language to our guests or staff
     

  • Smoking anywhere on our premises. This includes cigar, cigarettes, vapes, marijuana, or e-cigarettee
     

  • Harassing or behaving in an offensive manner towards our guests or staff
     

  • Acts of discrimination, aggression, or intimidation in any form towards our guests or staff

 

Management reserves the right to address behavior by guests that is to be disorderly, inappropriate, or in violation of our policies. In such instances, guests may be asked to leave the premises and no refund will be provided. 

 

DRESS CODE POLICY: We promote an atmosphere of elegance, class, and sophistication that encourages guests to dress up. We ask all guests to support our standards by NOT wearing the following items of clothing:

  • Ball caps

  • Doo-Rag

  • Hoodies

  • Flip-flops

  • Ripped jeans

  • Bare midriffs

  • Revealing clothing

  • Sagging jeans or pants

  • Cut-off shirt or shorts

  • Exposed undergarments

  • Jogging/tracksuit attire

  • Tennis shoes/sneakers

  • Athletic or sports apparel

  • Cut-off shorts and tank tops

  • Offensive or inflammatory clothing

We strongly encourage prospective guests of Chayz Lounge to thoroughly review our Dress Code Policy before attending any performances, as it is strictly enforced. If you are gathering a small group to attend a show, please ensure that each person is aware of this policy to prevent any potential issues. 

 

In order to preserve the standards of our establishment, we reserve the right to deny entry to anyone not adhering to the policy.

SEATING ARRANGEMENTS: Seating is assigned upon arrival and is based on the size of parties attending the evening’s performance. Further, our venue has cabaret seating, which means that you and your party may be sharing a table with other guests. If others are joining you under different names, please notify us via text to 803-563-8375.

GROUP SEATING: We welcome small groups looking to celebrate a special occasion with us while enjoying one of our ticketed performances. Our venue has tables that seat up to 4 guests, and a limited number of tables that seats 6. Please note that the following guideline also apply:

  • We cannot join tables together to for groups larger than 6 people to be seated together.

  • If there are more than 6 people in your group under different names, please let us know by texting 803-563-8375 and we will do our best to ensure everyone is seated near one another. 
     

  • If your group consists of more than 12, then please review the Options 2 and 3 on our Private Functions page.
     

  • Decorative items, including balloons are NOT allowed when attending our shows.
     

  • We do not allow outside food or drinks, including cake, cupcakes, water, soda, etc., in our venue.
     

  • We understand that conversation among patrons is expected and encouraged. However, we ask all guests to be mindful of the fact that they are in a shared space and the level of their conversations as not to interfere with the enjoyment of other guests.

This policy is in place because the average spend per person on food and beverage is $50. Therefore, it is important that every individual in a group occupying our space meets this average spend requirement. 

 

We strongly recommend that you and your entire group budget accordingly, and come with an appetite to enjoy our delicious cuisine, Signature Cocktails, and wonderful selection of wines.

HEALTH & SAFETY: The well-being of our patrons, and staff is our top priority. If you have a fever, severe cough, sore throat, COVID or flu-like symptoms, or are feeling ill in any way, please DO NOT ENTER our building. In addition, for the safety of both our guests and staff, we have security cameras in use both inside and outside our building.
