  • Can I bring balloons to a show?
    To preserve the intimate and elegant atmosphere, balloons and large decorations are not permitted during public shows. For private events, please speak with our team in advance.
  • Can I celebrate a birthday or anniversary at a show?
    Absolutely. We welcome celebrations. However, we ask that they remain tasteful and in harmony with the ambiance. Please refrain from bringing decorations, cakes, or party favors unless previously approved.
  • Can I rent your venue for an event?
    Yes. Chayz Lounge is available for private events, including celebrations, intimate gatherings, and corporate functions. Visit our Private Functions page or contact us directly to begin planning your curated experience.
  • Can I take pictures or video?
    Photos without flash are permitted. However, out of respect for our artists and fellow guests, we ask that video recording and flash photography be kept to a minimum. For full recordings or special requests, prior approval is required.
  • Can I watch sports at your restaurant?
    No. Chayz Lounge is not a sports bar. We’re a boutique destination designed for soulful listening and elevated dining—without the distraction of televisions.
  • Do I need reservations?
    Yes. All Experiences at Chayz Lounge require advance reservations. We do not offer walk-in seating. Reservations must be made online, and entry is only permitted with a confirmed booking. Due to limited seating, we recommend reserving early to secure your preferred date.
  • How do I contact someone?

  • How early can I arrive for a show?
    Doors typically open one hour before showtime to allow you to settle in, enjoy your meal, and take in the ambiance. Please arrive on time, as our events begin promptly.
  • Is smoking allowed?
    Chayz Lounge is a smoke-free environment. This includes cigarettes, cigars, vaping, and the use of any illegal substances. We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable space for all guests.
  • Is talking allowed during the shows?
    To preserve the listening experience, we ask that all conversations be kept to a whisper during performances. Our space is designed for music lovers—your quiet enhances the experience for everyone.
  • What are your hours of operation?
    Chayz Lounge does not operate on standard restaurant hours. We are open exclusively for ticketed, curated Experiences. Dates, times, and availability vary—please refer to our lineup of Experiences for full details.
  • What can I expect at Chayz Lounge?
    Expect an intimate, sophisticated atmosphere where soulful music meets elevated dining. Each experience is thoughtfully curated—from the lighting and service to the carefully selected sounds. No crowds, no chaos—just refined vibes and unforgettable moments.
  • What's your refund policy?
    All pre-paid reservations are final and non-refundable, similar to ticketed events such as concerts or theater performances. If you're unable to attend, please let us know as early as possible—we’re happy to explore transferring your reservation to a future experience when possible.
  • Where are you located?
    Chayz Lounge is located at 607 Meeting Street, West Columbia, SC, in the heart of the city’s vibrant River District. We are 5-minutes, 1.5 miles from the Gervais Street Bridge. Click here to view the map.
  • What's the minimum age to attend a show?
    Chayz Lounge is an upscale, adults-only venue welcoming guests 21 and older. We are dedicated to providing an exceptional experience and maintaining the highest standards for our guests.
  • Where can I park?
    Parking is available in our lot (adjacent to our building). Additional parking is available in the following areas: Salon 561 Meeting Street Interiors The Antique Shop (blue building) adjacent to our lot The lot of the vacant building adjacent to ours
  • What happens if I'm running late?
    We understand that delays happen. However, events begin promptly, and seating late arrivals may be delayed to minimize disruption. If you anticipate arriving late, please text us at 803-563-8375 so we can do our best to hold your seat. Unclaimed seats may be forfeited after a certain time.
  • What is your policy on empty seats?
    Seats not claimed by 15 minutes after showtime may be forfeited. If we are unable to resell or reassign those seats, a $25 fee per empty seat will be charged to the ticket holder. This policy ensures that our intimate space is fully utilized and helps offset the impact of no-shows. We kindly ask that you notify us in advance if your plans change or if members of your party are unable to attend.
  • What should I do if I can’t attend a show?
    While tickets are non-refundable, we’re happy to transfer your ticket to another event of equal or lesser value with advance notice. Simply text us at 803-563-8375 prior to the event start time so we can accommodate your request.
