KITCHEN MANAGER

We are looking for a Kitchen Manager to supervise daily back of house restaurant operations. To be successful in this role, you should be able to manage our kitchen staff and guide them to deliver quality, timely food. Ultimately, you will ensure all plates are properly prepared, served and our customers have a pleasant dining experience. Salary commensurate with experience.

Qualifications:

  • Proven 3+ years work experience as a Kitchen Manager, Restaurant Manager or Head Chef
     

  • Knowledge of a wide range of recipes
     

  • Hands-on experience with planning menus and ordering ingredients
     

  • Understands various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
     

  • Capable of producing high quality dishes, both design and taste wise
     

  • Familiarity with kitchen sanitation and safety regulations
     

  • Strong task and time management abilities
     

  • ServeSafe certification a plus

EXPERIENCED SOUS CHEF

We are looking for an experienced sous chef to be the second-in-command in our kitchen. You will follow our executive chef’s specifications and guidelines to prepare our dishes. The ideal candidate will be professional, passionate about cooking, and will use his/her culinary and managerial skills to enhance our customers' dining experience. 

 

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as a sous chef
     

  • Understands various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
     

  • Capable of producing high quality dishes, both design and taste wise
     

  • Excellent record of kitchen management
     

  • Knowledge of cost/waste control
     

  • Able to fill in for the executive chef when necessary
     

  • Accuracy and speed in handling emergency situations and providing solutions 
     

  • Familiar with industry’s best practices
     

  • Knowledge of sanitation regulations and safety standards
     

  • BS degree in Culinary science or ServeSafe certificate would be a plus

 

DISHWASHER

We are looking for a dedicated, organized dishwasher who enjoys working as part of a team in a fast-paced culinary environment. The dishwasher’s duties include removing soiled plates and flatware from tables, washing them thoroughly, and resetting tables in preparation for the next party. They may also restock items, unload delivery trucks, help prepare cook stations, clean appliances and machines, empty and clean trash receptacles, and other duties, as needed.

 

Qualifications:

  • Ability to understand and follow directions
     

  • Ability to understand and meet restaurant standards for health, safety, and excellence
     

  • Ability to work effectively with kitchen and wait staff
