Experience Chayz Lounge
Curated Evenings. Refined Atmosphere. Soulful Experiences.

For nearly ten years, we have designed our evenings to be felt as much as they are heard..
An intimate boutique listening room nestled in West Columbia's River District, Chayz Lounge is an award-winning destination where live jazz and curated experiences unfold in an elevated, unhurried setting.
From sound to atmosphere, every detail is thoughtfully considered, creating a warm, welcoming environment felt the moment you arrive. Soul jazz ensembles, wine-centered experiences, and salon-style gatherings come together in ways that linger long after the evening ends.

Inspired by the elegance once embodied by B. Smith, Chayz Lounge stands as a modern salon where culture and refinement meet with intention. Curated by founder Chaye Alexander, each evening unfolds with thoughtful detail and soulful ambiance.
The name itself carries a dual meaning, a personal extension of Chaye Alexander, and a nod to the chaise lounge, a place designed for comfort, relaxation, and ease.
Chayz Lounge is a place for those who value the quiet luxury of time well spent. Each reservation is an invitation to settle in, exhale, and savor the moment.

A Note from Chaye
Chayz Lounge was born from a desire to give people a place to slow down, exhale, and simply enjoy. Good music. Thoughtfully prepared dishes. An atmosphere that settles around you the moment you walk in.

My vision was always to create more than a venue. I wanted to craft a feeling: an intimate, elevated space where every detail matters, from the lighting and sound to the hospitality and energy in the room.

I believe people can feel when something has been thoughtfully curated, and that care is at the heart of everything we do here. My commitment has always been to excellence in how we serve, how we curate, and most importantly, how we make you feel.

I'm glad you found us. Thank you for being part of the experience.

Some of Our Past Performers

Over the years, Chayz Lounge has welcomed some of the finest artists in contemporary jazz, soul, and poetry. Each has brought their own rhythm to our stage and left behind moments our audiences still talk about. Here’s what an artist had to say:

"I had so much enjoyed performing at Chayz Lounge in West Columbia, SC. Chaye is just wonderful. Her staff and the venue give a warm family vibe, the audience was very engaged and the house band was totally on point. Looking forward to coming back and play there again." — Nils, Renowned Jazz Guitarist

Every artist leaves a note behind. Every guest carries a memory home.
