Chayz Lounge is the perfect place for adults to spend an evening with friends or a romantic night out enjoying a light meal, signature cocktails, and the best live jazz performances. A dressy or business attire is required. Below is the attire that is examples of attire that is NOT appropriate for our venue. Where are you located?


We are located at 607 Meeting Street in the heart of the River District in West Columbia, SC. We are 5-minutes, 1.5 miles from the Gervais Street Bridge. Click here to view the map.




Does the ticket price include food?


No. Your ticket price covers your admission and pays for the cost of the entertainment. Food and beverages are separate. In addition to the price of admission/entertainment fee, there is a two (2) item minimum food and/or beverage purchase required per person. A $10 charge will be applied only where no food or beverage has been purchased. Additionally, our staff caters to each patron a minimum of 2 hours throughout the evening. When purchases are made, 15% gratuity is automatically added to each bill.




What are your hours of operation?


Chayz Lounge opesn every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night at 6pm, and occasionally on Sunday. Proper attire is required to attend all shows.




Is there an age requirement to attend shows at your venue?


Yes. Chayz Lounge is a mature, adult only venue that that has welcomed customers ranging in ages from 25 - 85. However, minimum age requirement is 21. Children are not permitted in the venue, even when accompanied by an adult. Proper Attire is a MUST for all shows. Additioal information can be found on the General Info page.




Is there a dress code?


Yes! Dressy or relaxed business casual attire is required to attend all shows at Chayz Lounge. Sport or athletic attire, baseball cap, flip-flops, tennis shoes, sweatshirt, ripped or cut-off jeans tee shirt with graphics are not permitted. Click here for more information.




How can I purchase tickets to your shows?


Tickets can be purchased by clicking the Shows tab on this site. Once there, find the show you would like to attend and then click the "BUY TICKETS" button. Your ticket(s) will be emailed to you. If you do not receive it within 5 minutes of your purchase, check your Spam or Junk folder.




Is there a cover charge to attend a show?


Yes. The average tickets price is $20 per person; however, the prices can vary depending on the artist. Click here to see the line-up of weekly shows and/or purchase tickets.




What is the refund policy?


All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges will be issued due to scheduling conflicts, illness, or other personal issues. We also do not have a credit system, as each show is unique and funds are not transferable from one event to another. Click here to review our complete refund policy.




Are all ticket holders guaranteed a seat?


Yes. There is no standing room at Chayz Lounge. Below are the seating guidelines. General Admission: For 1 - 4 in the section highlighted orange. Use the Seating Chart at the time of checkout on Eventbrite to select the table that's right for you. The seats are not numbered. You can make your seat selection when you arrive. If others are joining you under a separate ticket, please be sure they have your table number. Preferred Seating: For parties of 1 - 4 seated together in a select section of the room. Preferred Seating is highlighted in green. Click the BUY ON MAP option at the time of checkout and use the seating chart to select the table that's right for you. Seats are not numbered. You can make your seat selection when you arrive. If others are joining you under a separate ticket, please be sure they have your table number. Accessible Seating: Chayz Lounge takes pride in its efforts to meet the needs of all patrons. Handicap accessible seating for patrons and their party, as well as patrons with trained guide dogs or service animals is available. IMPORTANT NOTE: Your seat will be held until the start of the show, then it will be released to the next person on our waitlist. Do you offer a group discount for shows?


Yes. We offer a discounted rate for parties of 11 or more. However, due to the intimate setting of Chayz Lounge, we cannot put tables together to accommodate seating for everyone at the same table. What's your refund policy?


All sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable and there are no exchanges.

What is Preferred Seating?


Preferred Seating is for parties of 1 - 4 in a select section of the room. The Preferred seats are the sofas, soft seating and tables for 2. There are also some tables for parties of 4 that are designated Preferred Seating. When purchasing your tickets on Eventbrite, Click the BUY ON MAP option at the time of checkout and use the seating chart to select the table that's right for you. Seats are not numbered. You can make your seat selection when you arrive. If others are joining you under a separate ticket, please be sure they have your table number. IMPORTANT NOTE: Your seat will be for 30 minutes after the start of the show, then it will be released to the next person on our waitlist. If you are running late and will not arrive by 8:30, text or call the venue at (803) 563-8375 so we can arrange to hold your seat(s). Refunds will not be issued for late arrivals.




How early can I arrive for a show?


Doors open at 7:00pm. You can enter Chayz Lounge at that time to order food, wine, and signature cocktails before the show.

Can I bring my own bottle of wine?


Yes. There is an additional $15 corkage fee that will apply.




Can I watch sports at your venue?


No. Chayz Lounge is not a sports bar. It is an intimate listening room that’s designed for the enjoyment of live jazz and smooth soul performances. If you are considering attending a show, please keep in mind the following: Please keep personal conversations to a moderate level. Engaging in loud chatter during the show is distracting for the performers, as well as to those around you who wish to hear the performance.
Please silence all electronic devices. If you must take or make a call, then do so away from the performance area.
Outside food and beverages, including soft drinks, is not permitted inside the venue.




Is dancing allowed?


Yes. If the music move you, then feel free to get up and dance. Although there is not a designated dance area, many patrons are happy with any space they can find to dance.




Do you have a food/beverage minimum requirement?

Is there bar seating?


No. And, there is no standing room. The seating at Chayz Lounge is cabaret style with 4 persons to a table.




How often do you have shows?


We are open and have live shows every Friday and Saturday night, and occasionally on Thursday & Sunday. Proper attire is required to attend all shows..




Is smoking allowed?


No! Chayz Lounge is a non-smoking establisment. Patrons wishing to smoke must do so at least fifty (50) feet of the away from venue's entrance.




I'm a musician. How can I get a booking at your venue?


To be considered for booking at Chayz Lounge, email your EPK to promo@chayzlounge.com. Be sure to include videos of live performances, links to your website and Social Media platforms and a professional photo. No phone calls please. If we find that your music and performance style is a fit for Chayz Lounge, someone will contact you.




Is food included with the ticket price?


No. The ticket/admission price covers the cost of the enertainment. We serve light meals and a tasty selection of small plate offerings that you can order from our menu. NOTE: There is a $5 food or beverage minimum per person. This charge will only be applied where no food or beverage has been purchased.




Can I choose a specific seat or table?


Yes. When purchasing your ticket(s) on Eventbrite, click the "BUY ON MAP" option to select the table that's right for you. Please note that the chairs are not numbered. You can choose your seat when you arrive. If others are joining you under separate tickets, please be sure they have your table number.




How long is the shows?


Our shows run between 90 and 120 minutes. On some occasions shows may run shorter or longer than the average time.




Can I bring a birthday cake?


We enjoy celebrating birthdays ad appreciate you choosing to send yours with us. However, outside food and beverages are not permitted. Birthday cakes are only permitted when renting our space.




Why do you have cover charges?


In order to compensate the extraordinary level of talent featured at our venue, we must charge admission. The average cover charge is $25. However, depending on the performer or band, the cover charge can be higher.
